Single, but grew up poor. I have to keep myself from buying too much stuff in bulk as I didn't have a lot of food when growing up. Costco is a great place, but I've ended up with 60lb of flour, 150 lb of rice, several cases of sardines and tons of hot sauce. not here - there's a few times I have to break out my micro-spikes to hike, and the mountainous highlands are largely off limits from jan-early march, but in the city its not so bad - ive lived in colder places and its not for me

Seem kind of convenient. Baskets provide a solid floor instead of a series of rungs. This might be helpful for things without totally level bottoms like the Sprite bottles. Though I'm not sure why they don't just put those in the refrigerator.

I grew up poor but family became not poor when I was in high school. gf(12 years) grew up middle class.

Depends. I grew up with a crack head mother with a few siblings. We had food but was never enough. Now I still buy dry goods like rice and stuff can be in the freezer in a while. But mostly store brand and i'll get some walmart brand little debbie snacks, but only 2 boxes a month. Try to keep veggies and chciken.
