I made a couple sandwiches and packed them in the fridge.
Two slices "english toasting bread", three slices ham, two slices colby-jack, spicy brown mustard, tomato slices. Hope the bread is thick enough to hold up to the moisture but we'll see, I guess.

What's with "meal prep" being trendy? Why not just make a meal when its lunch or dinnertime?

Yeah, I made a bunch of beef and spinach-filled egg rolls to bring to work for lunch over the week. They're bretty gud, and they store well.

I meal prep huge batches of soup and pasta sauce. Literally no reason not to because it makes absolutely no difference after unthawing and it takes no extra effort to make a bigger batch.

>> No.17943871

>>17943857
I do this. Save it for days I won't have time to cook. My freezer always has a half of dozen yogurt containers filled with the stuff. Usually labeled. Sometimes it's surprise chili instead of pasta sauce.

I don't understand meal prepping if it's not for taking to work or something. Surely everyone has enough time in a day to cook something up right

>Surely everyone has enough time in a day to cook something up right
I work about 12 hours a day, I guess I could think up and cook a whole new dinner every day but it's extra effort that stresses me out
