Use it as either an umami booster or a savoury booster depending on your disposition. For example a small amount in chili will enhance the savory( or umami) flavors.

>make some toast, butter it, spread some vegemite
Addendum to this: do NOT spread it on your toast like fucking nutella. Every seppo makes the same mistake. Use it sparingly, ideally no more than in pic related. This isn't a matter of taste, it's a matter of not immediately vomiting due to having a giant mouthful of saltiness.

It's hard to beat just plain vegemite on toast.

Another good way is to butter up a SAO, spread on some vegemite, maybe even top with a slice of tasty. Vita wheat crispbreads are also a good option.

I still have the one my dad had in vietnam. They actually open cans pretty quickly once you've used them enough times. Often I'll use this for opening a tin of beetroot since shit goes everywhere with openers that cut along the side.

this has a couple steps, but its well worth it
if you dont have any, make garlic confit
if you dont have any, make or buy pizza dough
take a quarter cup garlic confit, a small bit of olive oil(maybe half a teaspoon), oregano, chili flakes, and a shitload of finely ground black pepper, and about a tablespoon of vegemite, and a small splash of water, and mix well until you have a homogenous, dark brown paste
stretch your pizza dough out into a roughly 10x8 oval, or whatever shape you like, should be relatively thin and without too much of a crust
spread 3-4 tablespoons of your vegemite/garlic goop over the dough, and top with finely grated parmesan/pecorino(or both) and shredded mozzarella
bake in a very hot oven until the cheese is browned and you get some slight charring, cut into strips or slices, and top with flaky salt and green onions
its like pizza place cheesy bread on a lethal dose of tren

I had my australian friend bring me a large jar into eastern europe, absolutely everyone thought it was vile but I enjoyed it especially on crackers or even better cheese crackers. Its ok on toast but it wouldnt be my first choice. If you can get some mild chicken or pheasant pate use that as a base rather than butter, then its 9/11.
