All brown sauces are basically thick worcester sauce in terms of flavour.
Branstons is the best.
Pickapeppa very nice also.
HP the most popular.

it should be dried and salted prior to cooking: either immediately before it at least 24 hours before, if either of those count as sauce.

to serve, I like to combine rosemary thyme and butter (either manually or pre-salted) with or without ground black pepper.

let's see paul allen's card.

A1 truly is the lord's steak sauce

also when it comes to compound butta; I have a couple tippy tips.

>unsalted butter
>mash in a chunk of vegetable stock cube
>add your fresh ürbs
wala

or:
>unsalted butter
>mash in a chunk of anchovy
>add your fresh ürbs
wala

nobody will know, it's just a "secret ingredient" they'll all love

They're both types a what is known as 'brown sauce' in the UK.
A1 is actually a British product, but not anywhere near as popular as other brands like HP, Daddies, or Branstons.
A1 was more popular during prior to WW2 where it won over American GIs stationed in Britain.
