Three Floyds is pretty good, but MIdwestern beer is pretty average compared to West Coast/PNW and even a lot of NE stuff. It's been almost a decade since I lived out there, so I'm sure things have gotten better, but they've gotten better everywhere, and you guys still think you have the best shit when you really don't.

The more homophobic a person is, the more likely that are actually just gay and closeted. So I kind of like that about indiana, they are one of our gayest states, just closeted. That and I like nascar. Indiana is pretty ok once you get past that.

Also a lot of hoosiers are self conscious about their teeth and their education. It ain't fair what the school system turned into but hey, they lost a lot of jobs when reagan got into office. Oddly based. Being from just over the border (a handful of miles away from Three Floyds, actually) there's always the temptation to dunk on IN. But there is also a quiet affection for the place. Great beaches. Good camping. Sure there's plenty of hicks, but they're my people, generally kindly and hospitable. I do great with Hoosier girls.

Reminder: 3F is only in IN because they got filtered but the Chicago land prices and taxes. Th guys that work there are snobs that hate the state.

I don't really have a local favorite desu My beer scene is kind of bland.
Abita is my usual go to. Just wish they shipped more of their beers, all I can really get is their seasonal fruit ale, pic related, purple haze and their lemonade.
