hell, I'm sure all of those bags of chips, 'cereal', and poptarts are normally ~$6 a pop each, and because they shop like a toddler they're paying out the ass. manufactures set prices weekly or bi-weekly, if you have a modicum of self control, just wait and they'll be down to $2-3 one week, guaranteed. hell, sometimes I'll buy lunchables if they're 2/$1.50, but normally they go as high as $2.50 each (last I looked which was a while ago)

>62 cans of soda goywater
62 cans that the person says will last them 5 fucking days, even for a family of 4 which I highly doubt the person in the picture is feeding that would be 3 cans of soda per person per day. Although with the more likely scenario the person is feeding 2 it's more like 6 cans a day probably combine with a whole bag of chips a day.

>> No.17835602

>>17835429
Name brand snacks and sodas are surprisingly expensive. I added up about 80% of what was in the pic on the Walmart website and it was already over $110. Then it looks like there are some little spice bottles/bags and that can add up quickly too especially if they're name brand. And getting stuff sliced at the deli is like twice as expensive as buying presliced.

Rising food prices are a problem but it doesn't completely excuse poor shopping habits. They spent like $50 on more expensive name brand chips and soda. Also it looks like there's a $12 bag of lollipops there.

>> No.17835603

>>17835351
Things are more expensive, but holy shit please stop buying boxed foods and carbonated sugar water. 155 can feed two people for a month even now as long as you don't wast it on shit like kraft boxed foods, chips, soda, and cereal. I can count less than 5 things you should actually buy in that picture.

eh, I can get a pound of slices salami at the local deli counter for half of what the same weight costs pre-sliced. Make sure you're comparing the prices pound for pound.

its a tax evasion tactic
every dollar you donate to a charity you can claim and receive back in your tax return
rich people donate large chunks of money so then when tax time comes the govt goes "oh, cool, you dont have that much money then" and returns them all the money they spent on donations

The donated amount is deducted from your tax liability amount, and then your owed taxes are calculated from that Adjusted Gross Income, there is no situation where you can have a tax bill of zero unless you invest ALL of your liquid capital back into your business and write it off as a business expense.
