I totally understand it's not for everybody but I like pickled food items. What are your favorite pickled foods? For me it's pickled bologna.

I pickle garlic with salt because that way I can buy it in bulk cheap. I just cook with it pickled. No one seems to notice a difference but it's a lot easier for me to just grab a spoonful of cloves. And I only have to peel the buggers the one time. I usually listen to a podcast or YouTube while doing it.

I like hot giardiniera. Would eat it more but every time I eat super salty food I get a headache, probably from not drinking enough water

Yes, I seriously did that. I did it because whenever I talk to people about my passion for pickled foods, they look at me like I'm crazy or something. The pic I have attached is of Pickled bockwurst. I have no idea where I can obtain bockwurst in the U.S. other that Big Lots. Are there other brands of pickled bockwurst that anyone knows about that are available in other US stores? In case you don't know what bockwurst is, I've attached a pic and a wiki link

I bought from pickled sausage in a jar from a Big Lots a decade ago and I'll never forget it. Probably the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth. Made Tijuana Mama seem palatable.

These are great. Their mixed jar not so much, yellow peppers you can get anywhere, and the carrots are cut way too thick. Just the cauliflower is bomb though.

They are great, I eat them plain as a snack. I just get a big jar and fill it with cut up kielbasa and then dump in the pickling mix I made. They are addicting.

Pickle your own garlic. It's the bee's knees. You will never be able to go back to the commercial bulk garbage again.
