how rich are we talking? 200$ steakhouse for the 6 figures management people? or the art exhibits that are kind of out of the way?
pic related was probably the nicest place i've eaten at in recent memory. i absolutely hated most of the people i went with. there was a contemporary art museum adjacent to the bar and some really nice velvet. the cocktails were my favorite part i think
there was also a mafia group sitting near us that had to leave because the caporegime (who was maybe 6'10", obese, wouldn't stop standing at the table, had a towel on his shoulder, unshaven, wearing a ragged white t shirt) started throwing plates and shit after the influencer sitting next to his wife tossed wine at him after refusing to do anal that night. i think about that man a lot.

I'm def not rich but all the foods I'd want to try are within my budget. Like the most expensive things would be things like prime rib, but I can afford it for special occasions. I mean if I had lots of money then of course I'd splash out on things like rack of lamb more often or buy more ingredients online that are hard to get in my local supermarket. But I'm not interested in all the crazy expensive superficial foods, like a golden burger or that salt bae shit for overpriced nonsense. That's not even good food, it's just things people buy to display their wealth/social status and it's very shallow and stupid.

I'd like to be rich for other reasons, to buy a nice home and have more freedoms and less stress.

Most expensive I have ever had was some now defunct place in St Louis called "Cafe de France" or something. Took high school girlfriend there. I wore a tux because thats the nicest clothes I had access to, and ended up looking like a waiter. But food was excellent. Think it came out to something like $150 bucks for our meal plus tip. He's still got a taste for the fancy shit, though, and sometimes when we've had a good week or month he treats the rest of us to it as well.
It's good, but I would never pay that kind of money for it myself.

Most "gourmet" food is just a way to launder money, there's literally zero reason for something like this to cost 15'000$ outside of sheer extravagance. I'm not saying that certain foods shouldn't be more expensive than something else but there's a difference between charging 40% extra and 400%.

Everything rich people eat is overrated. It’s all a flex, like look at how rich I am, I can afford to eat overpriced food. This is why truly rich people who aren’t trying to flex just eat normal ass food, because often times, a burger from Mcdonalds is better than shark fin soup or some shitty overpriced cut of beef with gold flakes on it. PS. gold flakes are bullshit and if you ever see someone eating something with gold flakes on it, they’re an insecure faggot.
