back in college I was doing a beer funnel and my best friend thought it would be funny to pour everclear in the funnel while I was chugging away. As soon as the regular beer went down my throat and the everclear layer touched my mouth I instantly vomited. I barely even tasted it but the shock of trying to swallow it caused my body to instantly react by pumping out all of the alcohol I just drank. It was fucking humiliating and the guy who rented the apartment was pissed.

I used to mix 3-4 shots of everclear with a can of soda like coke or dr. pepper. It's basically just a stronger vodka when you mix it, and sugary drinks mask the alcohol taste mostly. Dark times. I still have the last two empty fifths to remind me never to drink that shit ever again.

When I was living in Delaware, this alcohol store sold 190 proof. Yepp, 95% alcohol. $12 or something for a 750ml bottle. I took it to national guard drill on one of the 4 day weekends we had to stay in some barracks for something and holy shit, we got fucked up faster than I imagined. My old coworker when I was 20 bought me the biggest sign of ever clear because when we would talk alcohol he said I always "disrespected the clear"

I got it on a sunday and by Friday the same week I had to have an ambulance take me to the hospital cause of said week binge.
