Bring it back. Or let us discuss making them ourselves at "home".

Just buy two chicken burgers throw away the buns and put em together

>> No.17760620

It's just fried chicken with stuff inbetween, are there really people who can't figure that out at "home"?

Let's talk about what is inside.

>Bring it back.
There is no point in bringing it back.
They stopped selling the boneless chicken filet years ago.
They were genuinely good filets of chicken with only a light breading on them.
The "doublicioius" was way better than the double down anyways.
1 filet, on a toasted hawaiin bun, with the same bacon cheese and chipotle sauce.

When they got rid of the boneless filet, they kept the "double down" and the "doublicious" but they used the crispy chicken strips which was about half as much chicken and 10x the breading.
Anything they sold now would be an abomination, they would never sell a real hunk of chicken like they used to.

I stopped going to KFC when they killed the Filets. The 5$ box was great.

You can't even buy a spicy chicken filet at kfc? Why? Doesn't make sense.

hard not to notice with the constant advertisement spam on the internet, tv and radio

I've never had it, but it just looks like bacon and cheese and two sauces/condiments

I remember trying one of these back in the testing phase, it was mediocre at best
I wonder if they got any better when they were released everywhere

Ameritards may get a lot of special food, but at least in the uk we get bbq and not mayo on our double downs

What do they put on burgers now then?
KFC is fucked disgusting btw and begging for these Double things is childish cringe

Double down was a meme. It was two small pieces of chicken. Not worth doing at home at all. I ate two in a row and wasn't full at all. Very disappointing.

I agree best thing kfc did and they got rid of it wtf

>> No.17762385

What are they using on their new sandwich then? I agree with you though. First genuinely good thing they had done and they threw it all away. They could have came back swinging with the chicken sandwich zoomer wars and they failed.

>> No.17762397

>>17760640
pretty sure it's just mayo and spicy fry sauce, bacon and cheese

>> No.17762410

I loved it. It was after it got rolled out so I can't say if they changed anything. It's also possible that if you were eating at a test location that they were trying different versions to decide what one to end up with. Maybe different cheeses or a different blend of spice.

My guess is that their supplier couldn't deliver. First thing that gets cut is quality for uniformity.

It's available where I live. They're not even that great and I'd gladly trade double zinger downs for a new menu item.

You can do this, but it will never be like what it is at kfc. The taste will be different.
