Which is the better food/drink container: glass or plastic?

They are functionally identical as far as taste is concerned, so I prefer glass for these qualities:
>heavier
>no microplastics
>can be heated or cooled with no worry as long as you do it slow
>less likely to be damaged
>helps me forget we live in an industry-punk hellscape
