The mcdouble costs less because it's just one slice of cheese on two hamburger patties but it looks like a mc10:35 is doable in bongland, so I'm getting that.

Why the fuck did they stop bagels? Muffins are shit by comparison. Bagels are delicious, greasy, dense and chewy which, since it's McDonald's, is what I want. Muffins are too light and airy and taste of nothing.

I had borderline culture shock when I was in Ireland and learned that Breakfast Burritos and McGriddles are regional items.

It was obvious in retrospect, but those items are so ubiquitous in America that it never even occurred to me that they would be left off of foreign menus.

Pancakes and sausage with maple syrup,
Muffin with jam,
Black coffee
Would also love a scrambled egg, but not sure if they do this.

I guess I'll try the breakfast roll with brown sauce. Everything else we can get in the US. Although I found out when I went to Europe, there was way more interesting stuff than McDonald's that I can't get here.

What are you talking about?
The menu is practically 1v1 for variety.
Muffin with jam = Gravy and biscuits
Breakfast Roll = McGridle
Bacon Roll = Biscuit
Cheesy bacon flatbread = Sausage burrito
Porridge = Parfait
Pancakes = Hotcakes

What are you seeing on that menu that I'm not?

That is also the reason. They gotta add McDonald's stuff then add things that are typical to what local people would eat. In the UK the on the go breakfast is a barm cake with bacon, sausages and eggs on or a combination of those items. They gotta appeal to that

i think currently, the most 'unique' thing is we have the option of fillet o fish for breakfast. I like it, its not a heavy burger, and perfect for mornings.

a few years back, they tried a 'healthy' rice porridge for a while, but it was not popular, at all. It had red rice, tofu, goji berries and sweet potatoes, zero msg.

Looks grim. The fish in a morning is alright though. In the UK id say the fillet o fish is not very popular though, i figure as we'd rather just go to a chippy for fish. Their salads are awful at McDonald's to. Hardly anyone gets them

Same reason they stopped the breakfast wrap, probably? What they have in common was that both had the omelette style egg rather than the fresheggs, and probably the supplier didn't survive the pandemic.

Plus I think they were a pain to make, especially the wrap, which is a shame, I miss that.
