Let's get this naan, sirs.
I want to integrate indian spices into my cooking, but the most I can find is coriander and curry powder.
Any spices I should be on the lookout for?
How can I tell good from bad quality spices?

whole cumin should be easy enough to find?

I thought indian peoples used more than cumin/coriander/paprika/cinnamon/butter. These are easy to find here (butter is fucking expensive). Any fancy indian spices beyond the basics?

Yeah, there are loads but I was starting with the most basic and easy to source one that you didn't list (that I personally use in all my indian dishes - I'm not indian if that matters)

Not fucking soap I can tell you that.

Cardamom, curry leaves, tumeric, ginger. Also garlic and chilies are big in Indian cuisine. All of these are easy to find. Even if you have to give that asshole bezos some money buying them on Amazon.

I dont think paprika is really used in traditional indian cooking. Its probably good for getting a nice red color if you dont want to heap on the chili powder though.

>curry leaves
I found a company on Amazon that ships these fresh, and used them in a curry I made a while back.
Interesting herb. I'd say the flavor is similar to the kaffir lime leaves used in Thai cooking.

>fenugreek
Fun fact: the fenugreek seeds sold at Sprouts in bulk are viable and can be sprouted for fresh fenugreek greens if you want them for your saag.

If you want authentic get asafoetida. Also get an airtight jar to contain the spice shaker, because this stuff will make the whole building REEK.
