This bacon is past the expiration date and it's turning greenish gray. But it smells fine. Should I still eat it?

depends on what you're hoping to achieve

How does shit like this happen in a freezer? (Where you keep bacon)

Op check your freezer temp.

If meat turned green you shouldn't eat it.

If it is sticky it might be a little off.

Depends on which would you rather lose, $5 buying a new pound of bacon or a possible 5 hours spraying liquid from both ends.

Do what I do: if you want bacon, get it from the butcher shop. It's about the same price as yet better quality than the pre-packaged stuff, you can ask for specific thicknesses (including just having the butcher cut a chunk off with a knife rather than putting it through the slicer or even having him run it through the mincer for you) and you can freeze it in portion sizes so you lessen the risk of any of it going off.

Oxidation of meat and fat. Should be fine to eat, won't be as fresh, but no worries.

If you're worried about it deteriorating further, cook it all at once and chop it up, put it in a bag for use on salads, sammich, shit like that.

Oh, and the minced bacon? Do that with beef bacon for the best burgers. Buy a pound and a half of a lean cut of beef, such as top round, and a half pound of beef bacon and have the butcher run it through the mincer for you. You may have to mix it together better yourself, but the hardest part is done for you.
Anyway, form your burger patties from that mixture and you're golden. Perfect amount of fat, great smokey taste and no need to add salt.

Excellent tip, I already got redpilled on sausages and steaks from the butcher and I have been buying meat to make my own jerky from him too. But never thought of buying bacon there. I just threw this stuff out and will get more bacon from the butcher tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure that's just where the air has got at it. If it doesn't smell off, it's probably fine. If it was just me I'd cook it and try some, but if I were cooking for guests or something I probably wouldn't risk it.

i like some shitty foods as well but not sugar injected bacons of the lowest quality. how hard is to to buy thick cut bacon at your butcher?

This looks awful.
If it smells fine, it’s usually okay to eat, our noses are pretty adapted to detecting bad food. However, I don’t know if I’d trust your nose. You seem like you might be retarded.

I think the issue is that it's so highly processed and has so many chemical flavoring additives that it drowned out the smell of rancidity. It just smelled like sugar, syrup, and smoke.
