Burley tobacco is a light air-cured tobacco used primarily for cigarette production. In the United States it is produced in an eight-state belt with approximately 70% produced in Kentucky. Tennessee produces approximately 20%, with smaller amounts produced in Indiana, North Carolina, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Burley tobacco is produced in many other countries, with major production in Brazil, Malawi and Argentina.

The overpopulation is horrific, there is garbage literally everywhere, there is barely any national forrests and parks or public land. The entire benefit of the west is there aren't a bunch of rotting houses all around you filled with the spawn of npcs too afraid to cross the cumberland gap. Life is just a series of grey skinned people getting in your way here. Everywhere feels like inside because you can't see anything further than 200 yards because there are stupid fucking trees everywhere. This makes road trips utterly horrific as you drive seeing NOTHING at half the speed you could enjoy driving through Arizona, Utah, Colorado, or New Mexico where the entire time you enjoy a view and go 90mph. And people actually obey right of way laws. The second you cross the mississippi driving becomes truly dismal and camping is shit. In phoenix at least you can take off two hours into tonto and go rabbit hunting with nobody else around any time a year and camp away from other people and actually see stars. The west is the outdoorsmans paradise. You could fit 9 delawares in arizonas recreational lands.

The only skinny people there are the meth heads. East coast is prime for small farms and decent land. I’d say go for south central PA, or the counties outside of the Philly area. Chester County is really nice and on the Philly main line where you can get to the city in under an hour, but it’s expensive. Berks and Lancaster counties are nice. I like when southerners pretend we're some brother in arms because I'm from Montana. I'd rather sit in some dusty laundromat in Modesto California talking to Hondurans all day than some Dixie geek. I fucking hate easterners so god damn much. They're all city folk even though most think they're not. Phoenix proper is shitty, but considering it's in the top 10 largest metro areas in the US (three counties all sprawled together), there's a lot going on, but you need to drive around more to see it all compared to other, more densely populated cities.

The point I am making is the rest of USA would continue to exist with minor hicks should California sink into hell where it belongs, but it would probably be hard to sustain itself with it's own produce, not to mention it playing any significance in feeding the rest of Americans.
You can screech tendies as much as you want but they would have nada livestock without the corn or soy.
The only thing they have going is ocean yet I barely hear about California fish being exported somewhere else.

I remember, almost too well, the day my father was driving me home from school. Those back-seat-captive conversations, where the adults knew exactly how long they could talk, and that you had nowhere to go. Just me and him one day. "Jared," he said. "I hope you grow up to meet all different kinds of women. And I hope you know, I wouldn't tell you who you shouldn't date. Still, though, I pray that when you find yourself older, and ready to settle down, choosing a woman to marry and start a family with... I would hope you don't choose a black woman".
I didn't think so much of it at the time. He didn't elaborate much more than that, as we'd already turned onto the street we lived on. But as I've lived and learned, I understand more and more just what he meant. I miss him every day.

that is a exaggerated light map for 3D like Maya and Blender. t./3/
It shows bryson NC brighter then LA. CA ffs and miles of desert wasteland doesn't mean rural because everybody lives bunched up in a valley just the same, If NY.NY was located on the north pole would you consider it rural? NO it's still a huge city it's just farther away from other cities

same can be said for the Midwest, 50 miles is right around the corner if you can fly down the highway.
Also have you ever been to the Smoky's? 5 miles as the crow flies is irrelevant because there is a 3,000'ft tall impassable wall of mountains blocking you from the next valley

Fresh Fruits are grapes and tomatoes, cash crops

It doesn't matter how secluded it feels in actual reality that store is 5 miles away. I do have family in the lower midwest and it is 2 hours to the nearest city driving 65mph in a straight line. An hour to a town with a walmart. The east is overpopulated regardless of how you try to coax it. We are talking about places with miles and miles between the homes, not 500 yards of trees.

5 miles by air not by land, if i can walk out my back door and hike for a hour and not come across another house i'm remote enough.
Just because there is a little cabin ever mile or so along a valley doesn't make it a suburb let alone a city.
From my mountain top i can see the west side of 3 other mountains and at night i can only see 2 lights/houses and after many years i honestly wouldn't even know how to get to them by road or even it i attempted to walk a straight line to them

You neglect to mention that between these is still less than a mile. It will never be the scale of a place like montana and the fauna are not on par either. People born in wide open spaces with mountains over 10,000 feet could never accept that disneyland tier scale. It feels like a video game in the east with how fast you go between places. It's okay to visit and I enjoy reading last of the mohicans but it will always feel like a cage for people from the wide open. I imagine steppe people feel the same but even more strongly about enclosed spaces like that.
