ive only made pizza a handful of times but they all turned out great in my cast iron. i dont havena stand mixer, so i use no knead pizza dough. j kenji lopez has a pretty good recipe for that on YouTube

also olive oil can get rancid (NOT unhealthy but it does take different) so make sure your olive oil is fresh (less than a year old) and is from literally any other place than italy. the mafia have diluted the olive oil there with shitty olive oil. look for olive oil from places like australia or america.

key to it is it has to be hot as fuck to work.
pre-heat oven to 500F with the pan in it
take the pan out and put some olive oil in. spread it around very carefully with a paper towel. put your dough in the pan and get it placed nicely. dress the pizza dough while it's sitting in the pan. go fast but not so fast that you're gonna fuck up. basically just get things ready to go before the pan is pre heated. don't worry you wont burn the bottom.

cook until the cheese is starting to go brown or whatever you want. for me it's usually in the 8-10 minute range. keep an eye on it though.
