Dunno, Fallout does feature some amount of food. It is just that most of it is either heated 200 year old canned beans, would require some actual effort to come up with a new recipe rather than just taking an existing one and slapping a Fallout inspired name on it, features ingredients that the soiboys who buy this shit would find disgusting and/or impossible to acquire (pinyon nuts and squirrel meat probably aren't something that you'll find at your local wallmart), or comes from that one modern Fallout game Bethesda doesn't want to acknowledge because of reasons.

The worst part of the whole fallout cookbook thing is that there's a SHITLOAD of weird recipes from the 50s that would match the aesthetic of the game. There's got to be SOME worthwhile shit out there.

My girl wanted it for Christmas, so I bought it. But, before I got to give it to her, her sister got her a copy. So, I decided to just keep the one I bought.
I've not made anything yet, but there are some decent sounding recipes in there. Most of them just seem to stem on their own spice blend.
