I almost never drink but this has to be my favourite.

Thanks for your admittedly uninformed opinion

I mean you don't have to drink something the most often for it to be your favourite. Laphroaig 10 is my current favourite whiskey even though I only drink a glass or two/three a week. At the same time I polish a bottle or two of jameson a week and it doesn't even come close to my top 10

It's pretty good as far as spiced rum goes, but they do load it up with added sugar.

I just wanted to share something with you guys since you're my friends. This is the first time an alcoholic beverage really clicked with me
>>17652777
excuse me?
>>17652769
I mean I don't drink alcohol often. I'm not a "kick back with a pint" kinda guy so I was surprised how much I liked it.
>>17652784
Anything better come to mind? I like it neat, maybe with ice

>bought a bottle of buffalo trace

Not better as such, spiced rum is particularly subjective, and I can't really fault the choice. Booze snobs will largely turn their noses up at spiced rums in general.
Rumbullion has some similar notes but has a bit more bite to it, might be worth a try.

Bourbon is supposed to be a little harsh or "untamed" as some strange folk like to call it. If the flavors appeal to you, but the harsness doesn't look for a 15 year bourbon.

unironically writing that down. Seems to be a little pricier

there was definitely a lot of flavor going on, I wasn't huge on the sweet flavor I was getting but I kinda dig the tangyness. it was a little smoother with a splash of water but I still don't know how people can suck down 3 or 4 of these

Rum vs spiced rum?
