This kinda reminds me of a YouTube video my (Japanese) wife showed me to explain how shitty “American food” is. It was “A few Japanese guys eat only American diet for a week”.

Try reading the regulations sometime.
The difference is that cheese has a very short definition. There isn’t much you can add, including emulsifier, and still have it be “cheese”.
But either way, it’s silly to say that if regulations say cheese is cheese, then it’s cheese, but if they say bread is bread, it’s actually fake.
