That reminds me to defrost the ribeye steaks I purchased from a smol meat market in a smol mountain town recently.

I am going to shave them thin, thin saute in a hot oiled cast iron skillet.

Then I'm going to cook up some bell pepper strips and onion slices until brown and a bit caramelized and maybe serve it with some kind of sauce.

I have chicken drippings and chicken stock.

I guess I should make sub rolls too. Anyone tried that?

Not really. I'd say I have ordinary needs. Shelter, food, water, warmth in the cold and shelter in the heat. There's nothing special about those needs. They are what I would consider ordinary needs.
In fact, my needs could be consider fewer than ordinary. Many believe they need love and sex, validation and gratification. I need none of these, and am quite satisfied without them. It is curious to me that anybody would find these things necessary. Surely contentment is best found within oneself, not externally.
Yet it could perhaps be said I have special wants. Great reams of bubble wrap that fill a room to the ceiling, lasers capable of cutting through steel, a personal space shuttle powered by solar alone. These are desires I feel deep within myself that some might consider special. They are, however, not needs.
