Jesus was not a real person.

Being gay is not a bad thing.

All right so where do I find those ingredients? How do I mix them together and cook them? You're not providing me with the necessary details here, fella.

I used to be an atheist. I said a lot of the same things. It was because I never felt loved. Then I realized that the one person we know loves us is God. Now I go to church every Sunday.

I have a feeling you might just be a younger version of me.

Meat, fish, dairy, oils, and wine are forbidden for Great Lent. On certain days oils and wine are allowed, on a couple days fish is allowed. But meat and dairy are totally banned throughout all of Great Lent.
Shellfish are allowed because they don't have a backbone.

Oh you do that lent, I just go off my favorite foods. Looks like you are eating PB&J for a while.

There are plenty of good foods that fall within the scope of Orthodox Lent. PB&J is the lazy man's option. You might as well tell me to eat corn chips the whole time.

Jesus was definitely a real person but he wasn't who Christians think he was. He was a Jewish preacher who believed he was living at the end of time, and that when history ended, a divine judge of the universe would come and establish an eternal kingdom on earth. He did not think of himself as God and never claimed to be God, although he did believe that he would become a figure of divine significance after the end of time. Jesus would be shocked that people today worship him as God

Vegetarian curry, rice and naan bread is probably the best thing I can think of. A lot of Indian food is vegetarian, so you should look into them to see what you fancy.

I am following traditional Catholic lent fasting which is from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday and essentially we do not eat until 3pm, we only eat one meal a day and no meat (beef, pork, chicken etc) nor their products (milk, cheese, eggs, butter, etc) which you can find out more about here
https://angeluspress.org/blogs/tradition/think-lent-is-tough-take-a-look-at-medieval-lenten-practices
Essentially I am eating salmon (fish is allowed as it is not an animal of the land) broccoli, miscellaneous vegetables, and I made a "polenta" that im working my way through, made from finely ground corn meal stirred into a homemade herb broth made from water, onion powder, a lot of garlic powder, salt, pepper, chilli flakes, rosemary, bay leaf, and some oregano. it tastes like garlic bread.

Oh and I've been bad lately cuz I've been giving into temptation and "treating" myself to pb&j sandwiches and sweet fruit lately, though not breaking fasting rules it defeats the purpose of why we fast in the first place, to suffer, if only in this tiny manner, as penance for our sins. I publically confess my brothers and will no longer overindulge in these sweet treats. God bless you all.

I don't practice cultish diets as the bible says you can eat any of god's creations so long as you give thanks, nothing he made can be unclean. That being said, the local Lutheran church will be frying food for a while and I don't feel like oxidized oil sticking to the walls of my apartment. No one does fried food better than churches.

It's not good enough that I don't deep fry or buy deep fried items unless it's part of a religious holiday or veteran's charity?
