Chooka's Char grill Chicken, a rotisserie and schnitzel place I loved as a kid (Australian)

They weren't a huge chain but had the nicest ingredients on all their chicken rolls and wraps (beetroot on a chicken roll RULES), normally schnitzel is a clear winner but their rotisserie chicken was just so good. Fun fact, it's referenced in the Matthew Reilly novella Hovercar Racer

Russian soda milkshale MiO which got snapped out of stores, I loved it.

Specifically it was a soda syrup mixed with milk and carbonated, producing a flavor of an actual milkshake in a can.

I absolutely adored it, probably off-production now. I want my blackcurrant MiO back, it was much better than corn-syrup infused coke.

But yeah you’re damn right. I only ever had one. Got it at a convenience store because I hadn’t seen it before, and now that my memory is jogged I distinctly remember thinking exactly as you described. Flavor and texture-mix was perfect. I've tried other chocolate sodas but none had the same can design and most didn't taste very good. There's craft stuff available that's probably good but I gave up long ago.

A local pub near me used to have the best fries in existence. Not sure if they put corn starch on them or something, but they would always arrive extremely crispy, even when ordered for delivery. Despite the crispiness they still had a fluffy, soft texture inside and were seasoned to perfection, with a nice hint of spice and garlic. The place also made a damn good burger, but the fries were so spectacular they were the main attraction. That is, until the chef changed and started making some fancy burgers with weird ingredients that just didn't go together served with soggy, limp fries. Still makes me sad to think about.

STOP WITH YOUR FUCKING BLUEBALL SHIT, COCA-COLA!!

It was fucking gone for years.
And then it was brought back and available in 12pks on Amazon.
And then you took it away again.
And then you “””””brought it back””””” but only as a fountain drink option exclusively at Burger King.
And not even all burger kings. Just the ones that have those touchscreen fountains, which is like 5% since the other 95% of BK’s are located in hoodrat shithole areas.
And then you brought it back again for like a few weeks in the damn cans.
And now the cans are gone again but it’s available at “Select Burger King locations”.

My private stock is down to 4 cans you sons of bitches; it was 6 but I drank 2 last year.
When it hits zero, I’m coming to the fictional coca-cola office in Minecraft, finding the highest-ranked executive I can, and shoving my dick in his ass, driving that steel like John Fucking Henry (no homo, just assraping you [in minecraft] out of principle), and ending with “Feed the rush! I'm a leaf, so I was perplexed as hell by people's affection for buttermilk biscuits until I tried making my own. All I had tried before were the Popeye's ones, which were basically fucking hardtack.
And then you make your own and they're soft, flaky, buttery, and delicious. Not at all a difficult recipe. And then you learn to make sausage gravy and it's hearty, rich, and salty; perfect poverty food.
I'm a little skeptical of any version of these food products that is produced by a company. I feel like their utility is that they taste good using inexpensive ingredients you already have lying around.

baste sausage gravy

I used to work at a hospital when i was a poorfag.
The cafeteria only sold sysco shit, but sausage gravy was 50 cents, a biscuit 50 cents, but each sausage patty was $1.50 for some reason, so I learned that if you stack up like 6 sausages and hide them under a scoop of gravy that the cashiers would just take your word for it that it was a biscuit

I’m pretty sure the standard has a chocolate swirl, not a caramel drizzle (at least in the US), as I buy them from time to time.
