Cooking a pot of chicken curry.

Big Papa Sloppa here, it looks like some tasty sloppa. What's the recipe?

>Approximately 1.5lb boneless skinless chicken breast cut into bite sized pieced
>1 red onion finely diced
>fuckton of diced garlic and ginger
>28oz can diced tomato

Spice mix

>1 tbsp coriander
>1 tbsp turmeric
>1 tbsp hot chili flakes
>2 tbsp cumin
>1 teaspoon garam masala to be added at end of cooking

Instructions:

>Soften onions in oil, about 5 minutes
>Add garlic and ginger, stir, let cook about 1 minute
>Add chicken, brown it
>Add spices, stir rapidly
>Add tomatoes, stir and reduce heat, season with salt and pepper if you like

Let that shit cook for at least half an hour, then mix in a half a cup of cream and a teaspoon of garam masala. Serve over rice. I'm also going to be having some steamed green beans with this because I like veggies.

Looks good. Going to give that recipe a try. Last curry I made was some Japanese Vermont curry with the roux cubes. I added in chopped apple 2/3rds through though, and add a smidge of local honey in the bowl. Good winter food.

Why not? It's just a simple vegetable side, I don't see how a few green beans could be offensive. The curry itself involves enough effort for a weeknight meal, I'm not going all out and making Indian sides unless it's some sort of special occasion.
