I use isaac toups recipe but I add a lot more of my blend of cajun seasoning and I also change shit I disagree with but I forget what

I never tried file powder but I hear its really polarizing, if it is used at all it's as a condiment left on the table that people can choose to add

I also like my gumbo soupy and hate soggy rice so I make potato salad and have a scoop of that with my gumbo, people do that in louisiana all the time

remember gumbo is either chicken and sausage OR seafood and i'm not just being a fag it's because the seafood flavor is easily over powered by sausage and chicken flavor

probably duck confit, close by would be beef bourguignon though the latter has a special place because it reminds me of my mother, she made it often when i was a child.
I love steak frites but that does not count
I greatly love pain au chocolat and croissants as well, i ate them almost every morning growing up.

Friendly reminder that in real life, Jon Townsend is a far-right conservative gay hating bigot.

That's why the orange fool thing was confusing. It was the woman's idea (he co-hosted that episode with a woman who works on a living history place), not his. He is deeply homophobic (hence his appeals to tradition and a prior time when gay people were coincidentally all pressured even more so than now to be closeted), and knows if his personal political beliefs got out, he would be cancelled, so he couldn't come out and say "yeah orange fool was her idea I love Trump", and that's why it got messy.

He's obsessed with tradition because white straight men feel threatened that now they aren't the only ones allowed to have power.

The odds that this man supports the prohibition of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation in places of public accommodation (businesses open to the general public with physical storefronts) - ARE NIL

Italian - pasta is a miracle food
Indian - Indian curries have such wonderful flavors
Japanese - I lived in Japan for 5 years, and sometimes I just get really nostalgic for a particular dish. The city I lived in was famous for their specific style of oden, but they also had a notable style of curry, famous gyōza, a wonderful local chain of hanbagu restaurants, there's plenty.
Anyway, this thread is stupid. The whole point of being on a desert island is to limit your options, you need to make it more specific. Like, you can only have three foods of each cuisine, one for each meal of the day or something.

As a Drumpftard /pol/idiot, the only thing that pisses me off about the Orange Fool Incident is that he didn't have the balls to own up to it, but I understand why (conservatives are the only ones wiling to spend actual money on his autistic living history larpshit)
TLDR it was a calculated publicity stunt and I'd totally have done the same thing, that's bidness
