Give me your best pointers on making nachos.
I've got
>beans
>minced meat
>cheese
>salsa
>jalapeños

My usual proceding is
>some beans on base of pyrex
>chips topped with some meat, cheese, jalapeños
>several layers like that, basically a nacho lasagna
>topped with some salsa after baking

but I'm not really pleased with this.

It's honestly pretty hard to mess up nachos. Add some sour cream and grab an avocado.

My nachos were never bad just kinda dull so I'm just hoping for some ideas on how to improve them.

Pretty good but add
onion
chives
sour cream
hot sauce
and making a cheese sauce instead of just shredded cheese which would make it so you don't need to bake it, also i hope you're using refried beans. The layering thing is up to you but i don't do it because the chips start to get soggy, then again i'm autistic about my nachos and every chip has equal amounts of toppings. i did get really good at making a whole dish in about 45sec

If you use black beans from a can then you should drain them but don't rinse them. The little bit of brown liquid that sticks to them will help them to stick to the chips they touch and doesn't negatively impact the taste.

You might want to swap the jalapenos/salsa for a full pico de gallo(not sure if this is what you mean by salsa, but don't use the canned stuff for nachos).

Beyond that the biggest impacts are going to be how your meat was seasoned and what kind of cheese you use. I usually throw together a basic mix of cheddar and pepper jack but you can definitely mix it up. If you want to feel like your getting it from 711 make up a jalapeno cheese sauce on the stove instead of baking the nachos.

That’s not how you make Nachos dipshit, Nachos are just deep fried tortillas that are cut.

he should be using refried pinto beans for nachos
Rinsing canned black beans depends on the dish, for black beans and rice you want that sauce otherwise the dish becomes to dry and there is nothing to carry the flavor of the onions and pork

Make chilli con carne and simmer it right down, then put it on top of your corn chips, cover with grated cheese and melt it under the grill. Top with a chunky salsa made with diced avocado, diced tomato, corn kernels, red onion, lime juice, chopped coriander, dollop of sour cream b
Next to it, then garnish with chopped jalapenos and hot sauce.

Season your minced meat. Use manchego and cheddar cheese. Red beans are goated.
