If a restaurant has pizza, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, soup, salad, ribs, seafood, something Mexican, something Asian, desserts, and appetizers it's pretty obvious that the restaurant uses low quality often frozen product and that the food is going to be mediocre at best. I'd argue that if a restaurant has more than 25 menu items that it's likely going to be low or medium low tier food. No need to be hostile about it. Chopped beef sandwiches where the meat is cut with the grain or it's been overcooked are a dime a dozen. Said places will use a bunch of sauce to hide the issues. If it has a nice smoke ring, cut against the grain, and the meat yields with some fat and flavor from the wood, then a bit of sauce will round it out fine.
