Italy, but I live in the US now. Had Basil Hayden at office party, liked it, and it's the only whisk(e)y I buy. I've tried a few others but I either haven't like them as much or found their price tags to have crossed the line of diminishing returns.
But then, as said, I know fuck all about whisky/whiskey so I may not be able to appreciate the nuances the more expensive ones can offer.
