Who here loves Sake?

>> No.17451474

Like most Japanese food, it's really nothing to get excited about

>> No.17451480

>>17451474
Its like vodka but goes down easier and not so overpowering to the senses.

>> No.17451495

Booze folded over one million times. Such technique! Such perfection!

>> No.17451507

>>17451480
vodka is so unpleasant to drink.

>> No.17451529

>>17451480
Vodka is hard liquor. Sake is just wine, albeit with that Japanese je ne se kwa

>> No.17451546

I tried that exact bottle and was underwhelmed.
The plum wine the store had next to it was good though.

Literally never had it. There's even a japanese place like two blocks from my house I take girls to when I want to fug them that night, but I've never had their sake. What's it taste like?

>> No.17451639

Sake is best fresh. It has at most a one year shelf life before it is no longer the same flavor. Check the date on the bottle every time.

>> No.17451650

I enjoyed this one. Always cold unless its a treat on a cold day outside for some reason. I'm fairly certain its a western thing.

The cheap sake you can get in the cans is total trash that tastes like soap.

I've noticed the Sake at the liquor store is basically $1 per 1% abv. So the $12 12% abv Sake was okay not shitty but not great. And the $40-40% was just as good as the $20-25 bottles so I think the cost/abv ratio is in the mid level range. Right bottle in pic is a $20 one I had chilled in the fridge for about 24hrs and it tasted like honeydew melon so I highly recommend

He's probably thinking of Shochu, which is pretty much distilled sake that has a alcohol % almost the same as Vodka. Which if he was talking about that, then he's right.

yes, completely

I'm trying to point it out to the anons above but I suspect they're already drinking melon flavored soju
