Look up foul mudammas. There are so many ways to make this. It's a dish that stole my heart and is such a part of me that I can make ten different versions in my sleep. Most ingredients are available to anyone, canned fava beans can be ordered on Amazon, frozen field peas can be found in most places as a substitute for the favas. Fuck it, use black beans. I usually add canned chick peas and make my own pita in a pan. Figure out what you like, make it yours. Totally vegan/vegetarian. It's fuck me in the ass and wipe it on my face good.

Excuse me, just to clarify:
>Found out i am lactose intolerant.
>Now I can't eat cheese (on pizza)
how did you find out? Medical diagnosis? You seem to have eaten pizza with cheese before, are you only stopping because you KNOW that you are lactose intolerant? How heavy are the symptoms?
Maybe you can continue consuming milk, just a little bit more moderately. If the symptoms are not too heavy.

Not OP but I'm lactose intolerant and as I posted here >>17451056 I can eat cheese just fine, I can also have a glass of milk or two and its usually fine, more milk than that gives me crazy shits though. Sauces and gravy made with a lot of cream also fucks my bowels up. Kefir seems to be much easier than milk so I drink that instead, one glass a day and no symptoms whatsoever.

Frequent exposure to lactose won't fix your lactase production but some gut microbial adaptation can mitigate the level of symptoms you develop.

Vegans out
Lactose free milk products are perfectly fine and basically the same as the real thing, even for cooking purposes, much unlike plant """milks""". The lactose is just broken down one stage, making the milk a little sweeter, but the nutrition and behavior is the same.

Seriously, the only reason to use fake milk is if you have a full-blown dairy allergy. And I'm saying this as a severe lactaselet. Also don't give up cheese unless you really have to, aged is probably fine
