A little bit of both. Also you must eat all the eggs.

It can be 2 things. On the one hand, I love eggs. It’s a measure of skill by the chef.

On the other hand, eggs are so forgiving that this grievously cheap cooking method will probably produce a product that’s tolerable, if not optimal. Eggs are the dogs of food. We don’t deserve either

That's a lot of food to waste. Those eggs could have fed a lot of homeless people.

There is somthing gag-inducing about pulling out 3 day old eggs from the fridge, throwing them in the microwave for 10 seconds, then using a ice cream spoon to dish em into a shot glass and slurp them back 2ozs at a time

If I had to guess they're probably gonna be freeze dried for survival buckets or used as a component for stuff like frozen breakfast burritos.

Worked in food man, they definitely threw it out.
I've seen $500,000+ worth of food sent straight to the dumpster while starting up a new line.

And people wonder how there can be food shortage issues

It's amazing. It was kraft heinz btw. The amount of food waste they single handedly produced was eye watering.
and despite that, almost 50% of all food waste happens at home.

It really is disgusting
