What is /ck/ cooking this evening for dinner? We’re going for split peas with chorizo and sweet peppers, served with pan fried chicken thighs tonight, and baked potatoes. (Sorry for the potato quality pic)

I added the chorizo/peppers/onions (forgot to grab pic of them in the pan alone) to the peas and they will simmer in there. I need to add a little more liquid, peas are still a little crunchy, and the pan is fry on the bottom.

Sloppa is a good start. Crock pots are a great beginner cooking appliance, you can make pulled pork/chicken, sausage and peppers, chili and soup as well. Also any kind of pan fried ground meat with veggies mixed into some kind of grain like rice or farro is nice and filling. Pic is some honey pepper porkbelly on top of mashed sweet potatoes

4x Onion (2x red 2x yellow)
Entire head of garlic
2 paprikas (Bell peppers for burgers)

Teaspoon of sugar
Lots of paprika powder, about 50 grams or so I'd wager
