i tried these and they were terrible. i only like cheddar jack and normal cheez its. also never get the 'extra cheesy' ones, those are just a bad salt flavor on top of normal cheez its.

If I remember right, there was a poll that got put online as to what new flavor of cheez-it people wanted and one of the larger requests for more of the burnt cheez-its that sometimes made through QA. Personally I always liked getting those, it was like finding the prize in a crackerjack box, so a whole box of them is actually pretty decent.

That said Cheese Nips beat Cheez-its any day of the week. Cheez-its are too greasy and don't have much of a crunch. Nips are a little saltier, too.

I bought some Walmart brand chips ahoy because they were on sale at half the price of name brand. Turned out that they were overcooked and a bit brown/black on the bottom, but pretty tasty. Grabbed another pack a few weeks later while they weren't on sale, still a buck or so cheaper. The second pack was not overcooked and not as good.
