Apparently it won't kill you. It just looks pretty. Tell her you're making a very rare and fancy dish with blue garlic. She'll wet her panties almost immediately.

>Garlic turns a greenish to bluish color when it is cooked with an acid. The color change occurs because there is a reaction between enzymes and sulfur-containing amino acids in the garlic. Blue and green pigments occur when these enzymes are activated by a mild acid. Isoalliin is the name of the compound that is responsible for this reaction and it is formed when the garlic is cool or cold.

Finish the recipe. What you're seeing is just a reaction between a protein in the garlic and some acidic solution that makes a blue/green coloration. It's unnoticeable once all the other ingredients are in and does literally nothing aside from the change of color.

shrimp scampi? i'm assuming you used lemon. the acid reacted with the garlic and it turned blue. still fine to eat. explain to her why the garlic turned blue and she'll think you're intelligent. if she doesn't understand and thinks it's gross she's a dumb whore anyways and not worth your valuable and limited attention
