Whoever uses it? And why?

A sandwich is one of the least effort meals to make at home. And also the most portable.
I didn't even mention the ridiculous pricing.

Like..why?

i go there but not often. only when i crave a particular type of sandwich. it would cost just as much for me to go out and buy the ingredients to make my own as it would to just go to subway and get a meal deal.

I don't. They always smell weird. Every single subway I've ever gone into had this off-putting smell somewhere between old rotten meat, stale bread, and B.O. Plus I make sandwiches better than they do.

I eat at Subway because I support the LGBTQ and MAP movements, and because Jared was a child molester.
In all seriousness though, I make my sandwiches for the next day at work before I go to bed. I basically stick them in a ziploc baggie and put them in a paper bag with chips and a soda.

I travel for work and sometimes when I'm bored I'll go into a random subway and just shit it up a little bit. I'll order a sandwich and give stupid specific directions and then complain they fucked it up and insist they make it over again. Or I'll order a couple sandwiches and a couple salads, of course with all sorts of nasty shit like extra extra mayo and multiple sauces or whatever. then when it comes time to pay I go 'oh shoot I forgot my wallet in the car, I'll be right back' then I get into my car and just leave. something about it just brings me joy and it is something I can do in literally any city for a bit of fun. I hope the employees get some kind of enjoyment out of it, maybe a funny story or some free food.

Of the fast food chains around it's one consistently edible and not disgusting. I've gotten served some disgusting burgers/kebabs etc. in my life but subs are at worst bland.

I will detail below the Sandwich order that I made yesterday at lunchtime from my local Subway Store that was freshly crafted by the Sandwich Artist Pajeet:
>Honey Oat Footlong
>Classic Chicken
>Swiss Cheese
>Toasted to Subway Perfection
>Smashed Avocado
>Lettuce
>Tomato
>Raw Spinach Leaves
>Jalapeño
>Onion
>Olives
>Mayonnaise
>Sweet Chilli Sauce
>A dash of Salt and Pepper

Overall, my bespoke Subway Sandwich was a fine meal that provided me sufficient energy throughout the remainder of my workday and left me feeling satisfied until dinnertime. However, I had one problem in particular with my Subway Sandwich that I refuse to remain silent about. The Mayonnaise that I ordered in my Subway Sandwich was not befitting for even a paralytic leper convicted of treason. I do not believe that the substance that was put in my Subway Sandwich was truly Mayonnaise, as advertised on the top of the sauce dispenser in clear writing.

The next time that I make an order for a fresh sandwich at my local Subway Store, I will not be asking the Sanwich Artist Pajeet to put Mayonnaise on my sandwich.

I do believe that Subway’s Own Garlic Aioli is a fine alternative to mayonnaise and I will be ordering this condiment next time.

However my fellow gastronomic gents, the story does not there. Oh no no. I urge you to continue reading my next post for the continuing details of my Subway experience.

>> No.17407689

My experience from my local Subway Store continues as follows:

After I had finished devouring my meal from Subway yesterday, I put the Sandwich wrapping in the bin under the desk in my office. We fast forward to today. Several times throughout the late morning, I had noticed a strange smell emitting from the bin on a few occasions. Try as I could and despite my best efforts, I could not ignore the foul odour any longer and I had to remove the refuse from my office. I leaned over under my desk to tie up the rubbish bag and before I knew it I was retching and truly on the cusp of ejecting my morning’s breakfast from the pits of my stomach because the odour was so horrific. I instantly recognised the odour as the foul Mayonnaise from my local Subway Store. In that instant I vowed to myself to never again order Mayonnaise from a Subway Store.

In over 17 months of working in this office, I have never once had to dispose of the refuse under my desk because of a foul odour before the weekly removal by our fine office cleaners. This was a major inconvenience to my day that I do not appreciate, and I will draft a strongly worded letter to my local Subway Store informing them of the Mayonnaise Stench. I do not believe that I am the only Subway Customer who has had to go through such a difficult and character building experience. Please inform me if you have had a similar experience.

>Whoever uses it?
Lots of people, myself included from time to time.
>And why?
Location/Convenience. Subway are everywhere, and sometimes it's the only decent enough option around.

Good story. I agree the mayo sucks. Never had an issue with the smell though. Are you sure it was the mayonnaise that made the smell? Mayo doesn’t really smell like anything.

Thank you for sharing your experience my esteemed gentleman. I shall share one of mine.
My usual order from the Sandwich Artist is as follows:
>Italian Bread, not toasted
>No cheese
>Meatball Marinara
>Red Onions
>Gherkins
>Chipotle Southwest Sauce
A simple but perfect combination of ingredients. Now a cautionary tale. I decided to order a Subway Sandwich (TM) from the online portal known as "Just Eat". It arrived 10 minutes late even though I had ordered an hour in advance of my lunch time. After biting into my Subway Sandwich, I realised with horror: "These are those blasted Meatless Meatballs!"
The Meatless Meat taste almost made my lunch inedible, but I endured through my meal for thankfully the delicious combination of marinara, Chiptotle South West, gherkins and red onions is one that can not be beat.
In the future, I will always go in person to the Subway Store so I can supervise the creation process of my Subway Sandwich with a keen eye.
