Honestly I don't rate him as a chef. As a "food technician" for want of a better phrase, he's excellent but I find his recipes uninspired.

I'm gonna assume you're British if you're a Gennaro fan so I reccomend Sorted Food. Channel that does all sorts of different shows, with novel gimmicks, like competing to improvise the best recipe from a given bag of ingredients, shit like that. They have 2 chefs and 3 home cooks.
