Juice still contains other things that make it healthier than pure sugar. The vitamin C and phytochemicals are supposed to have similar benefits for blood sugar. It'd be okay in smaller amounts and thought of more like a treat instead of like actually eating fruit or just drinking water. But I'd say a small amount of good quality juice probably has more benefits than drawbacks especially if you compare it to something like soda.
