Those are some nice looking tacos anon. I've never pickled onion (or anything) myself, I would be proud of those tacos. This gives me the urge to make seafood ones again.

I'll try and make one home cooked dish to share tomorrow, I'll have to see what I have. I was planning on making a grilled cheese but that should hardly count.

What beveage? Lemonade? I love a good lemonade. Seems like sort of a random assortment of food but each delicious and nothing has been combined together to make it really weird.

I will say true keto though is super hardcore. This meal alone could break it as I've heard an adult needs to keep their carb intake under 20 grams. That's not to say you can't benefit from a low carb diet by being close to keto.

for the dough: a cup of flour, half a cup of milk, tea spoon of yeast, pinch of salt, two pinches of sugar. mix till combined, wait till it rises. you can store it in the fridge or after its risen, lay it on a oiled pan(i use my teflon pan and I'll burn in hell for that) and give it some nudges to cover the bottom. let it rise again.i cook the bottom on a stovetop, for cooking the toppings and getting the cheese brown i yoink it under the grill of the oven.
this makes a thick crust and i like heavy toppings with it, under the mushroom and onions you see in the op pic, there was another layer of seperately cooked mushroom, onions and peppers.

i made some good bolognese a few days ago. i ran out of balsamic so added apple cider vinegar and some juice from a jar of sweet pickles instead. also threw in some zaatar cumin and cinnamon on a whim, looking for some middle eastern flavors. i added just the right amount where they weren't overpowering but just enough to make it savory and interesting. the two people i served it to both asked for seconds which i took as a sign it wasn't bad.

before that i made a cozy chicken noodle soup that was perfect for the shitty winter weather we've been having. before that a black bean and chorizo soup that i was told was "like crack." next up i think i'll either do dal samosas and chicken curry or some beef stew made with stout

Not in english, I'll translate and post it here.

First make the bbq sauce. Combine:
1 cup pineapple juice,
0.75 c water,
0.25 c good teriyaki sauce,
2 tbsp soy sauce,
0.5 c dark brown sugar,
3 tbsp lemon juice

Stir, dissolve, heat to boiling point, reduce heat to low. Add:
2 tbsp roasted garlic (find yt tutorial for that one)
0.25 c finely minced onion
1 heaping tbsp crushed pineapple (I make sure to mince it fine too)
1/4 tsp cayenne or to taste
3 tbsp Jack Daniel's no.7
Keep stirring, reducing and the garlic should dissolve.
Reduce to half the original volume.
These amounts should be enough for 3 racks with no sauce left over.

The ribs (3 racks):
Remove membranes. Combine spices:
2tsp paprika,
1 tsp each of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder,
0.5 tsp each of thyme and cayenne
Rub the spices all over the ribs.
Place in a deep-ish oven pan. Add a few tbsp of liquid, like juice or beer.
Cover with aluminum foil propped up by a piece of onion or sth. (I want to avoid aluminum touching the meat)
Cook in oven for 3h to 3.5h @ 120 °C / 250 °F
Remove from oven, pour out any liquid from the pan. Cover the ribs in the bbq sauce and broil for 5-10 min so the sauce turns into a glaze.

Also, the colseslaw and oven baked potatoes are taken from seriouseats.
And to not waste the juices from the pan after the ribs have slow cooked, pour them into a narrow glass and scop out the fat. Then combine the juices with an extra portion of the bbq sauce and serve on the side for bonus points (and calories).

yeah, it's funny, everything going on just doesn't happen in massachusetts, the trade off is being surrounded with pompous uninteresting dickheads. very livable place.

Here on the Baltic Sea pretty much everything is really expensive. Salmon you can sometimes find on sale at around 9€/kg.
That being said food here is very expensive anyways.

omfg if I am making a dish do not touch the oven temperature, do not adjust the seasoning, etc. I want to be mad at myself if it is not to my/diners liking. If you put yourself into the equation I will be fucking mad! FUCK. Too many cooks in the fucking kitchen, have you heard of it?!?!

reverse searing gives you a much nicer texture on the surface as it dries out in the oven before searing, better looking cross section too since it cooks evenly throughout. you get a more balanced fade between the cooked and rare parts of the meat. in a regular sear the change is more sudden

The last and only time I eat spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino with cheese on it was in Prague, 16 years ago. Is the most simple recipe, don't fuck it up.
>EVO Oil
>garlic
>chili peppers
>add a couple of spoons of boiling water
>then add the pasta a couple of minutes before it's cooked
>finish cooking it in the stir frying pan and eventually consider another spoon of boiling water if necessary, to make it more "creamy"
>turn off the flame
>add a bit of chopped parsley
>no cheese
