>Why is Taco Bell so shitty now?
It's always been mostly shitty, with only a few random locations being decently run for random periods of time.

The reason the shittiness is more noticeable now is because they got rid of most of the menu over the past 10 years and increased prices. You're not able to get your shit preference anymore so even feels even shittier to get charged double for your second choice.

The chalupa shells are the only thing they've changed (but kept on the menu), those things were the only half-decent shit left and they fucked that up too.

Those were the days, promotional glasses, mugs from companies and shops like the grommit mug or PG tips mug, yard-glass from the cinema Tango ice-blast, pint glasses of different breweries stolen from pubs. Peoples cupboards were filled with stories, I miss those times. I just have generic boring mugs and glasses, except for a couple beer pint glasses and a Jeju Starbucks mug.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all smell. Could be the fact that I long-term dated a woman who was born and raised in Mexico City before legally immigrating to the US. Yet, I cannot stand eating any Tex-Mex cuisine after enjoying her cooking for the years we were together.
Places like Taco Bell, Chipotle, Moe's, Taco Bueno, etc. always come across as subpar to my taste buds.
>taco bell prices continue to be good despite inflation and the quality is largely dependent on location. find a good bell and stick with it.
That can be said about the majority of fast-food restaurants. I remember a Wendy's that was near my former apartment. Had 5/5 service and food. Was staffed by all whites and the quality showed. When I moved across town and hit up a nearby Wendy's. I discovered horrible food and service. Discovered that it was staffed by all blacks and had a 1/5 rating across all platforms.

I remember when mcdonalds opened up a few blocks away from my house(i lived in a small town, and the mcdonalds was actually built inside our rec-centre/ice skating rink) and i would walk down on my own to collect this set.
I remember feeling weird asking for the cinderalla one cause it was the "girl" toy, and i was a 9 year old boy... but i was trying to collect all of them.

Prior to that, if i wanted to get the mcdonalds toys id need to go to the neighboring town which was like a 10 minute drive away(the other town was just slightly bigger than the one i lived in, so all the development happened there. It had a pool, 2 malls, Mcdonalds, Pizza hut, Canadian tire, etc..)

So much nostalgia. and all built around crappy little plastic junk. To its credit, its 1000x better than the shit they give away now. Like i also had those cups(>>17287183) and they lasted YEARS. I doubt anything mcdonalds has sold as a promotion item in the last 15 years has actually lasted longer than a couple years before going into the trash.
Kinda funny, The price has sky rocketed, and the quality has plummeted.

I loved this cereal growing up. My dad would buy 4 huge boxes at costco when he went into the city, cause no one sold it in the grocery store in the town we lived in... I had been looking for it off and on while shopping for the last few years. I finally got fed up and actively looked for it on the internet to see what store had stock so i could make a trip specifically to get it... only to find out they discontinued it last yet.
Another piece of my childhood dies.

(and for those wondering, it LOOKS like its a healthy cereal, and there is a lot of fibre, but its actually really sweet too. If you like crunchy cereal, its prob. the best mouth texture out there.)
