I remember when mcdonalds opened up a few blocks away from my house(i lived in a small town, and the mcdonalds was actually built inside our rec-centre/ice skating rink) and i would walk down on my own to collect this set.
I remember feeling weird asking for the cinderalla one cause it was the "girl" toy, and i was a 9 year old boy... but i was trying to collect all of them.

Prior to that, if i wanted to get the mcdonalds toys id need to go to the neighboring town which was like a 10 minute drive away(the other town was just slightly bigger than the one i lived in, so all the development happened there. It had a pool, 2 malls, Mcdonalds, Pizza hut, Canadian tire, etc..)

So much nostalgia. and all built around crappy little plastic junk. To its credit, its 1000x better than the shit they give away now. Like i also had those cups(>>17287183) and they lasted YEARS. In the 90s I ate these cinnamon sugar potato chips, I dont remember the name, but they were awesome. I havent found anything to compete with them on the shelves since.

I loved those crown nuggies. my cousin lived down the street from me and was my same age so we hung out a lot, and his dad worked at buger king and at night he would bring home a massive bag full of food that had sat too long to sell.
