Post soup.
I’ll start. I made Pozole with pork belly in my wife’s instant pot.

Why do you refer to the instant pot that you - as a married couple share - as "her"?

>> No.17294376

>>17294372
Because she originally bought it and uses it more than I do. Just like she doesn’t refer to my AR as “our” rifle.

I made a comfy chicken noodle yesterday, no pics. Made the stock the night before, then yesterday deboned the half chicken, added finely diced (<1/2 cm) carrots and celery, added the chicken and noodles, and cooked for like 15 minutes until the carrots were just the right level of crunchy. Was tasty desu.

I love this nigger like you wouldn't believe.

First had okroshka in 40°C heat and this cold and refreshing motherfucker with its dilly idyll wormed itself into my heart and remains there since.

This is the best thing about soup. It can warm you up in winter, or cool you in the summer.

Done properly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73ZQOAtfH30

Love the colors on this nigga. Very cheap (dogs, cabbage, potato) but good. ~45-50 mins with preparation.

Trying to lose a few pounds and having some soup ready to go really helps me not to stuff my face with random calorie dense shit when I get hungry. Once or twice a week I make a pot with whatever vegetable I feel like using or happen to find on the cheap. Pic is butternut squash

Oh I see. Well I made it before I really started watching my caloric intake and even then it's supposed to be a complete dinner and would fit well within the 1600 I set out for myself. And of course I would balance my breakfast and lunch accordingly

Calorie reduction is a horrible and completely outdated method for losing weight. Caloric calculation says nothing about the quality of the nutrition you are getting or how fat is actually created, stored, or lost in your body.

Just keep your daily carbs intake in the 50-100 grams range and watch your fat melt away.

I get what you're saying, but I'm not that big of a guy(4U) and don't have a particularly active lifestyle Above 1700 I'm essentially overeating. And alongside cutting out nearly all processed ingredients I have indeed been eating fewer carbs against vegetables and protein, hence the vegetable soup strat for example.

I find they stay intact much better that way. Also, it’s nice cooking the celery, onions and carrots in the fond left over from frying the pork/beef.
