This is the only chain restaurant that I would consider to be phenomenal. It actually has food that doesn't make me feel like I'm living in some corporate dystopia unlike all the other nationwide restaurant chains.

THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE THIS AWAY FROM YOU

I got food poisoning from a cracker barrel. havent been back since. you might not feel like you're in a corporate dystopia but you are, so your good old fashioned down home country cookin' is still made by disgruntled minimum wagies and third worlders.

Sitting by the fire and eating breakfast for dinner is comfy.

We will live in a dystopia no matter what. Just let me pretend I'm not living in one and let me eat my Cracker Barrel!

Btw, you might feel a stigma at certain places if you got food poisoning there but just ignore it (unless you have good reason to believe something bad is going on in the kitchen). I got really sick at a place once and didn't wanna go back but I did eventually and it was really good. Glad I didn't decide to never go again because they have really good food.

how so?
it is nothing but cafeteria food for an outpatient old folks home.
it is the definition of corporate dystopia.

It's homely, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice, they have a fire inside the building (!!!), and they sell good candy. What's not to love about it?

They both serve "country" style food, but Golden Corral is dogshit and they only hire junkies and it's mostly junkies who eat there. Cracker Barrel is actually a nice place to go and eat.

50% seems great for an experience that no other place is willingvto give you.. I hope you gave no less than that.

Their lunch/dinner is way better than their breakfast, but some people don't feel like cooking a full breakfast so they'd rather just get it there. It's lazy as hell but whatever.

My mother calls it "Crackle Barrel" every time. I even use its actual name in a follow-up sentence, but she defaults to "Crackle Barrel". My grandma used to call it "Cracker Barrel". Why is the target demographic for this chain so inept at pronouncing its name correctly? I love the selection of candy and bottled sodas they offer though.
