depends on where you're in. probably it'll be fish or chicken. unironically check out ragusea's pot of protein. if you decide to use chicken, check out internet Shaquille's "how to eat chicken and rice until you die" or whatever that was called.

The problem with chicken is it’s impossible to make it taste good. You bake some salmon? That shit is good right out of the oven. Baked chicken? Bland, dry, etc.

Dry brine and it will be moist and tender, if salty chicken is too bland for your fried taste buds then add any spice you like, or use any sauce. Or have it with a strong tasting side dish, chicken is litteraly one of the most versatile protein out there

Don't you wish there was just a chicken bake 25 minutes option on the oven and it came out perfect every time? I also always baked mine for the same temperature and time on the recipe and ended up with crap chicken. I have some advice.

Brine in low sodium soy sauce 15 min - 45 min before baking

Make sure to let chicken come to room temp

Make sure to cut chicken up so all pieces are uniform and it cooks more evenly

Get the timing down for your oven and the technique for the prep and you will discover what a joy it is to take out juicy, slightly crispy chicken breasts
