I thought sloppa was just a dumb /ck/ meme, but ever since I've tried it I can't go back to eating normal food. I used to always organize my food nicely, keeping the individual components separate. Recently, I've just started mixing everything together and it honestly tastes much better.

The problem is, I'm hooked now and simply cannot stop eating sloppa, even when it's not appropriate. For example, over Christmas, my GF's parents invited us to a fancy restaurant. I ordered a steak, mashed potatoes, and fried brussels sprouts. It came very nicely presented like pic related, but without even thinking about it I ended up cutting the steak and sprouts into bite sized pieces and mixing them together with the potatoes to create a weird sloppa. Needless to say, my GF and her parents were NOT impressed. How do I overcome my sloppa addiction before it gets me in any more trouble?

You're supposed to put a bit of everything on your fork. I think your problem is learning how to use a knife and fork and eat properly. /ck/ makes sloppa because they can't cook, lack imagination, and are lazy.

I always ate like that before discovering sloppa. I would cut things into tiny morsels, and get a tiny bit of meat, starch, and vegetable with each bite. However, it's so much more satisfying to just have a huge plate of sloppa you can scoop straight into your mouth by the tablespoonful.

I never understood people who unironically take tiny bites, spending 30 seconds just to cut multiple foods into miniscule pieces that can all fit on the end of a fork. It's so much more satisfying and efficient to just take MASSIVE bites of sloppa.

So in conclusion, Americans are just lazy and want to shovel food into their mouths.
