Microwaved potatoes are kinda shit compared to the real thing.

Bake some potatoes at 450°F for about 40-45 mins. Split them open and add some cheese, butter, green onions, sour cream, bacon etc... really anything you want to them. Just remember potatoes need salt (and pepper) to taste good

Cut into wedges, soak for it least 30 minutes, season (black pepper, garlic and onion powder, whatever fast-food sauces I have left over), allow to dry. Roast at 450F for 30 minutes.

I like Russets and Yukons. Waxy stuff I have low tolerance for.

Never boil them. Boiling a potato in preparation for mashing or frying is fucking stupid. bake them instead.

>>17242812
potatoes are already filled with water and a little bland in flavor as it is. so if you want to add more water to them and dilute their flavor even further go right ahead whatever floats your boat shithead.

What you need:
a Casserole pan

Get following ingredients(serves about 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are kek):

>Broccoli and/or Cauliflower
>~5 Medium sized potatoes
>cheese of your choice(to be melted)
>200 ml whipped cream(but still in a liquid state, so unwhipped cream kek)
>2-3 Eggs
>butter
>Optional a few slices of Ham(if you like some meat in it)

>cook a bunch of potatos( like 5 Medium sized ones)
>Cut Broccoli/cauliflower
>crack both eggs open and mix em with the Cream, ad a few slices of butter
>use some butter to add a layer in the casserole pan so nothing sticks to it later.
>peel the cooked potatoes and cut them in slices, and put them together with the Broccoli/cauliflower into the casserole pan, Then add the ham if you want to have ham on it.
Then pour the Cream egg butter mixture evenly accross everything. Put the slices of cheese on top of it and keep it in the oven for for ~40-45 Minutes at 180 degrees. If the cheese gets brown too quickly put a sheet of backing paper on top of the dish. Enjoy
