I could happily eat chicken thighs and rice everyday. It's very easy to make, just cook them both in the same pot in the oven. delicious and very cheap

whitebait can be found for pretty cheap too
go to your local bakers(not greggs) and ask about starter yeast, bake shit, flour is super cheap
loose/wonky veg are good value and looks dont matter as you are chopping them up most of the time
supermarkets eat up most of the price of bread, gov gives subsidies to dairy farms, take advantage
use the oil/vinegar/brine from jarred/tinned/preserved stuff
go to the nearest asian foodstore and stock up on dried stuff and spices
get yorkshire or twinings tea, do not cheap out here
kinda unrelated but never skimp on toilet paper
