If you make it yourself, spring for the pricier red wine vinegar. It's very much worth it. Also, I've experimented with different vinegars (champagne, balsamic, and cider) with good results. Give it a try.

Sweeter than red wine vinegar, but has great depth. Your chimi was probably excellent.

Your pan was cold. I'm an ancient guy who grew up wishing he could be poor. When we had meat, it was always hashed -- used every bit, stretched it out, etc. Mince the shit out of your cooked meat, same with your taters. Season as you like, mash it all together with your hands, then smash it flat in a very hot skillet. I prefer to chop it with my spatula while cooking. Some prefer to try to keep it like a patty. You do you.

it's really simple! I boiled about a cup and a half of fusilli pasta, when it was done i crumbled in the feta and mixed until it kind of melts into a sauce. I drained the canned 'dines, broke them up with a fork, and stirred that in with a good slosh of olive oil and half a lemon squeezed in for good measure. tomatoes go in too, give it another stir and there you go! its pretty cheap, filling, and the flavors all do their thing really nicely. The lemon is, imo, essential.

they're cooling. because I don't have any liners or tins I need these things to basically get cold before I'll be able to remove them. I buttered the pan really well so I should be able to just turn it upside down and they'll fall out.

They're chicken and mushroom pies, 2 plain, 2 with cheddar, and 2 with swiss. The filling was some slow cooker sloppa I made awhile back and had a ton leftover.

>> No.17239589

Today I had crispbread with peanut butter, blueberries and cinnamon with a coffee for breakfast. For lunch I got a Thai broccoli and coconut soup with a slice of soda bread. I had some leftover red lentil dahl from yesterday, and since I was too lazy to cook I warmed it up and threw it into a wholemeal wrap with arugula and a sweet hot sauce for dinner. Snacks included a raspberry yogurt parfait, cup of vanilla chai tea, protein ball and small bag of popcorn with a vithit.

I'm pretty busy everyday so I rarely cook, 90% of the time I just assemble leftovers until I run out. The only meal I tend to put effort in is breakfast, especially on weekends.
