I remember when I was in university they ran this "bunch of options for $5" menu or some shit and my go to after waking up with a hangover was double hashbrowns with chili and cheese and a coffee. In and out for $5 and change. God that was so good

Cracker Barrel is the new Waffle House. I just got eggs, grits, hamburger steak, hash brown casserole, biscuits and gravy for 10 bucks. In California of all places.

Waffle House doesn’t even have the chili, fuck that.

The "waffle baker" that Waffle House uses is made by Wells and are usually only sold through restaurant supply for $600+. Sometimes, you'll find a cheaper used one, though.
Also, they typically make their mix a day before and use half and half as part of the mixture. Nothing you can't find out just by asking.

I prefer their omelets too. The ones at IHOP have some of the pancake batter in them to fluff them up, but makes them kind of dry. Waffle House just uses the milkshake mixers and high heat to pop them out fluffy and quickly, along with some help from the lo-melt.
