In the USA, I have never been in a proper bar that had a child's menu. Only restaurants and attached lounges with all-ages hours have kid's menus because they have curfews (usually 8-10pm) where kids aren't allowed on the premisis after. Maybe it's different in yuro countries that have more relaxed youth drinking culture though I dunno.

I live in a town that had a couple breweries and getting the beer fresh off the tap is pretty awesome. Sure it's not that much different than the can, but it's the novelty of it. Plus I can ask the Brewers questions about it. You pay for the experience. But I agree, it's much cheaper to normally drink at home with friends. Less DUI that way too
