There is a tremendous amount of fraud in the food industry. Tons of fish you buy isn't actually the fish you think you're buying, the organic standards are constantly being broken while farmers and food producers aren't being inspected because they know about inspections well in advance, there's cellulose in a ton of grated Parmesan, fake saffron, it's in everything. It's much more prevalent than you think.

I'm a norfag in the US and it's seriously easier to find good ranch dressing in Norway than in California. I mostly have it on pizza, and in Norway they always make it fresh in-house, while here they'll squeeze that fucking bottle into a cup in front of me.
