We're racists here, sweetheart. We hate all ethnic cuisines (that aren't ours).
Try the redpill if you want to see the worth as objectively as I do.

are there any actually decent dishes in filipino cuisine? every food i've heard of from the philippines sounds like some horrible concoction a 7 year old would make

Their attempts at Western food usually suck due to a lack of availability of certain ingredients. All the varieties of adobo are pretty good though. Salpicao, sisig, and lechon and pretty great too.

Pancit and lumpia are nothing to write home about, basically just stolen from Chinese food anyway. The weird shit like balut, Filipino people I've known told me only poor boomers still eat that and young people just like tricking tourists into trying it.

Overall I'd say it's better than /ck/ says it is. It's got some great stuff, some pretty average stuff and some weird shit.

Pancit and adobo. Lumpia is ok but basically just egg rolls. Just make some chicken adobo.

It's all shit. Literally every country in the surrounding area has amazing cuisine. How did they fuck up so much?

I did try the Phillipine banana ketchup, it was OK. Tasted similar to regular ketchup which I don't really use anyway

I ate sisig at a Flip restaurant in Sydney a few years ago and it was sensational. Great combination of textures
