What are you drinking tonight anon? Pic related for me.

great taste, bernardus 12 is amazing. my favorite of the classic belgian quadrupels. I'm drinking red wine right now though, which I know much less about than beer

1. **Jahrgangs Pils Premium** (€0.24/500ml bottle)
Thin wort taste. Alot of hop extract flavors. Shit beer. Can't recommend.
2. **Weizen Pale Ale** (€0.79/500ml can)
Nice grapefruit/citrus fruit aromas coupled with velvety Hefeweizen smoothness. Had it too many times before. The novelty wore off. It's good though.
3. Two Calpirinhas
4. **Crafty Brewery Stout** (€1.70/500ml bottle)
Strong chocolate smell. Head had some brown spots on it. (did they add cocoa powder???, not on the list of ingredients)
Otherwise, potent roasted malt flavors. New to stouts, can't judge if it's good or not. Had a hard time drinking it. Only small sips.

Sipping on a little barrell bourbon and then I will dig into my ardbeg limited release 100% ex-rye cask. Very nice balance between fruituer flavors and the classic ardbeg peat.

>>17205832
Great, classic beer. They make a barrel aged version. I have a few bottles of it, but don't remember the difference.

>>17206500
Excellent beers. You should seek their special barrel aged versions as well. Very very nice with 3-5 years on the bottle.

>>17206510
Also great. I like their fruited beers as well.

I find stouts hard to session. It doesn't help that all of the craft/quality options in my area seem to be coffee or oatmeal based now. I like a stout once and a while, and I use them for cooking sometimes, but it's not a beer I get super excited about.
